NFTs are amazing in that they allow artists to control and market their IP directly to their community in ways that facilitate ownership and wealth.
Since March 2021 Black NFT Art has been onboarding Black artists into NFTs, amplifying them, and creating positive NFT spaces for Black people to network, learn, and build relationships.
We’ve been acknowledged by our peers, covered in the press, supported by volunteers, and so much more all while testing out different strategies for uplifting Black artists.
Now, we are ready for the next step, which is releasing our first NFT as the first collectible by our company, meant to represent the beauty of Black art and importance of collecting from Black artists!

How much does a BNA - Rise Tokens cost?
0.05 ETH each which should equate to somewhere between $75 and $225 per token, depending on the price of ETH when you purchase.
There will be an additional fee called a “gas fee” that fluctuates based on the value of ETH.

How do I access the Rise Collectors Club?
The Rise Collectors Club will be organizing and engaging on a community management app called discord. You must have your NFT in your wallet in order to access the private channels. Follow the steps below to join:

Our NFT is the first collectible by Umba Daima, representing everything beautiful and great about Black NFT Art and the community we have built.
In addition to owning one of the first collectibles by Umba Daima, holders of this NFT will get access to various perks including a private collector community.

How do I sell a Rise Token?
You can sell your Rise Token(s) at any time. You’ll be able to sell your NFT on multiple marketplaces including OpenSea and Rarible.
But we highly recommend that you buy and sell your NFTs through OpenSea. On OpenSea you can visit the url for your NFT, and click “sell”. Follow the steps for listing or setting up an auction and then you’re good to go! OpenSea will notify you when you’ve made a sale or received a bid.
Can I help to decide which NFTs get purchased by Black NFT Art?
Yes! Rise Collectors will occasionally be able to vote on which NFTs we buy for the Umba Daima NFT vault. Voting will happen in the private discord channel.
Will you only buy NFTs from Black artists?
No, we will occasionally buy NFTs from generative projects and non-Black artists. But our primary focus is to support Black art.
How is the smart contract set up?
We’ve developed a custom smart contract that provides the following features
True Ownership - the contract and the NFT collection is owned and controlled fully by Umba Daima
Interoperability - you can move your NFT around to different platforms
